UGANDA MUSEUM
Located in Kampala, the Uganda Museum is the oldest and largest museum in Uganda. It showcases various aspects of Ugandan culture, history, and natural heritage. The museum houses collections of traditional artifacts, archaeological findings, ethnographic displays, and exhibits on Uganda’s flora and fauna.
KASUBI TOMBS
Located in Kampala, the Kasubi Tombs are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a burial ground for the Kings of Buganda. The tombs are a significant cultural site and showcase traditional architecture, rituals, and cultural practices of the Baganda people.
NYERO ROCK PAINTINGS
Found in Kumi District, eastern Uganda, the Nyero Rock Paintings are ancient rock art sites believed to be over 3,000 years old. These rock paintings depict various designs and symbols and provide a glimpse into the prehistoric culture and beliefs of the region.
BUJAGALI FALLS
Located near Jinja, Bujagali Falls was a significant cultural and historical site. It held spiritual importance for the local communities and was a place of traditional rituals and ceremonies. Although the falls were submerged due to the construction of a hydroelectric dam in 2012, they still hold historical and cultural significance.
